When the couple purchased their very dated bay front home, they knew the clean-lined bones of the home had potential. Wanting to have a complete change from their previous traditional home filled with antiques, they were more than ready to embrace a warm contemporary style. With the starting point of the clients’ favorite color of red, a neutral color palette of taupes, creams and pale grey was used extensively throughout the home with pops of red for interest and drama. The result is a timeless interior that is comfortable, easy to live in and doesn’t detract from the most important feature of the home – the bay front view.
From the natural quartzite countertops to the Swedish lounge furniture, to the smoke-glass dining table that extends to a larger size by twirling around the top, the home is sophisticated, yet intriguing and inviting.
